COMMERCIAL ROUTE SETTING

This is a one day course aimed at those who work as part of an in-house route setting team or as freelance professional route setters. This course incorporates advanced drills, exercises and ideas on how to improve your route setting, along with focusing on how to incorporate these ideas to add value to your work in a commercial environment.

This course will focus on what climbing centres need from their route setters, ways to increase engagement and interest for customers as well as how to make your route setting inclusive for a wide range of people.

It is a hands-on day with plenty of time dedicated to route setting, testing and discussion. This course gives you the chance to delve deeper into the role of a route setter and how that role can be filled in the best way possible. It's also a fantastic opportunity to mix with a psyched group of route setters from across the country.
