About the Event

Introduction to Route setting is a 1-day course aimed at climbers who have an interest in route setting and a passion for climbing.

This course is being hosted at Cardiff's premier bouldering wall, Roc-Bloc.

Whether you have a view to becoming a professional route setter in the future or a desire to improve your own climbing by broadening your understanding of climbing movement, this is the course for you.

It is a hands-on day with plenty of time dedicated to route setting, testing and discussion. This course gives you the chance to experiment and set the moves you've always dreamed of.

We will be putting some extra COVID secure measures in place to ensure we maintain a safe, comfortable environment for everyone. As well as our own measures, we will also be following Roc-Bloc's own COVID measures, including following guidelines for capacity and asking all participants to wear masks when in the building.

Any cancellations with notice of 14 days or more of the date of the course will receive a full refund. Any cancellations less than 14 days before the start date will not receive a refund.
