About the event
This one-day course is designed for those who are part of an in-house route setting team or work as freelance professional route setters. It includes advanced drills, exercises, and ideas to enhance your route setting skills, with an emphasis on integrating these concepts to add value in a commercial setting.
The course will address the needs of climbing centers from their route setters, explore ways to boost customer engagement and interest, and focus on making your route setting accessible to a diverse audience.
This hands-on day offers ample time for route setting, testing, and discussion. It provides an opportunity to explore the role of a route setter more deeply and how to fulfill this role effectively. Additionally, it's a great chance to connect with psyched route setters from around the country.
